Dynamic Emerging Companies to Present at the EQUITIES Transatlantic Conference
NEW YORK CITY; LONDON, Sept. 18, 2007 – EQUITIES Magazine proudly announces its Second Annual Transatlantic Conference, to be held at the NASDAQ MarketSite in New York City on Sept. 28, 2007, and at the London Stock Exchange on Oct. 1, 2007.
The keynote speaker in New York will be Robert Greifeld, NASDAQ’s president and CEO. NASDAQ lists more companies and trades more shares per day than any other U.S. market, and it has further solidified its place in the world economy under Greifeld’s focused leadership.
Thomas Donohue, president and CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, will be the first guest speaker in New York. In addition to running the world’s largest business federation, Mr. Donohue is a member of the President’s Council on the 21st Century Workforce and the President’s Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations. He will be speaking about American small businesses and the subprime mortgage crash. Ken Fisher will be the second guest speaker. As CEO of Fisher Investments, Mr. Fisher is a capital-management pioneer, and his often contrarian views on finance have made him one of the industry’s most sought-after personalities. Mr. Fisher will offer his insight on the market and discuss his latest book, The Only Three Questions That Count: Investing By Knowing What Others Don’t. After the presentations, attending CEOs are invited to partake in NASDAQ's closing bell ceremony.
In London, the keynote speaker will be Martin Graham. Mr. Graham is the director of markets of the London Stock Exchange and the managing director of the Alternative Investment Market. He also serves as a board member of FTSE International, the Indo British Partnership, and EDX (the LSE's equity-derivitives market). The guest speaker in London is Oxford Metrica chairman Dr. Rory Knight, who brings years of experience and insight to the conference. Dr. Knight serves as Dean Emeritus at Oxford University's Templeton College and is a member of the John Templeton Foundation advisory board.
